Quick and easy to install on both open and full-face helmets, using self-adhesive pads or specially designed clamps, both of which feature a quick release mechanism for easy removal when not in use. It’s also completely waterproof and weighs just 55 grammes.
Once installed the F5 allows clear and easy communication with fellow riders and passengers – six or more connections are possible – up to 1.5 miles (2400 meters) apart, with no fiddly pairing process: connection is automatic and instant.
The F5 also has a spoken menu function, which gives voice indications when the intercom connects or disconnects, when music plays or pauses and when a phone call is incoming, so there are no more confusing sequences of beeps.
Two phones can be connected to the F5 simultaneously, and calls can be controlled by voice, allowing the rider to keep both hands firmly on the bars. Incoming caller information is also announced.
Bluetooth 3.0 technology gives the F5 the longest battery life of any Bluetooth intercom to date: up to 11 hours talk time and 700 hours standby. A 3.5mm audio cable for connection to non-Bluetooth devices is also included.
High quality stereo headphones mean a favourite track, GPS instructions, and those from fellow riders, are all crystal clear. The noise-suppressed microphone allows communication at motorway speeds too and Interphone include a choice of headsets for both open and full face helmets.
Radio lovers can also enjoy the F5’s built-in FM radio, with 8-station memory.
